Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Bloom (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bloom (16 in the EU). By using the App, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

Bloom doesn’t require account creation for basic use. If you create an account for cloud sync (when available), you’re responsible for keeping your credentials secure.

4. What Bloom is — and isn’t

Bloom is a personal wellness tool. It is not:

5. Purchases

Bloom Pro

Bloom Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks premium features for the lifetime of your account on the device(s) you purchase it on. We don’t currently offer refunds, but Google Play handles refund requests according to their own policy (typically 48 hours after purchase).

AI Credits

AI credits are purchased separately and used to access the AI assistant feature. Credits don’t expire. Refunds for unused credits are handled per Google Play policy.

Subscription (if added later)

If you subscribe to “Always Bloom” (unlimited AI), you can cancel anytime in Google Play settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of your billing period.

Bloom, the design, the brand, the AI prompts, and the curated content are owned by [YOUR NAME / COMPANY]. Your data is yours — we claim no ownership of your journal entries, photos, or health logs.

8. AI assistant disclaimer

The AI assistant generates responses based on your questions. AI responses:

We use Anthropic’s Claude API. By using the AI feature, you consent to your question being processed by Anthropic per their terms.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid for the App in the past 12 months. We’re not liable for:

10. Backup

We strongly recommend exporting your data periodically. Settings → Privacy → Export data. If you change phones, reinstall the App, or experience a device failure, your data may be lost without a backup.

11. Termination

You can stop using the App anytime — just uninstall it. We can suspend access if you violate these terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the App. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes resolved in the courts of [YOUR JURISDICTION].

In Play Console: there’s no required field for Terms of Service (only Privacy Policy is required), but it’s good practice to have one.
